Paris is in the lead for the 2012 Summer Olympics

I can't say this is a surprise. Having looked over every single bid for these Olympics pretty carefully, the advantage clearly goes to Paris. Not only that but France has the advantage of experience in hosting the World in their country on Numerous occasions. For example, they not only host with the Tour de France and the French Open (Tennis) on a yearly basis but France received EXCELLENT marks for hosting the FIFA World Cup (of Soccer) in 1998.

I would strongly suggest looking over every bids web site and see for yourself how Paris is definitely in the lead. I do have to give New York City an 'A' for Originality in their bid for the Games with their 'X' transportation plan.

I don't think London has a chance with they bid they submitted simply because it's not practical and there is no possible way I think it could work successfully especially in the areas of Athlete transportation.
